The Black Sea extends to the north of the village, which is 18 kilometres away from the district centre. You can reach İmrenli by following the Kabaköz and Kocaköy road. The village, located in a valley, stands out with its traditional architecture and beach. Being a sheltered bay, the sea is calm and the water is very clear. The photo point is located right at the entrance of the İmrenli village beach. From here, you can photograph the bay surrounding the beach. You can capture very good photographs especially at the sunset.
Since it is crowded in the summer, you should prefer the early hours of the morning for photo shoot especially on weekends. Imrenli, as many other villages of Şile, is a greengrocer village founded by Turkmen communities that settled in the region since the 14th century. Imremli is known as the first place where White Russians fled to Istanbul from the Bolshevik Revolution by way of Crimea. The mosque in Imrenli village square is a spectacular architectural work, dating back to 1710.
