The Sakralna_Khortytsya one-day cycling route on Khortytsia Island is offered from the Max Grant Multicultural Center. The route runs along the Serhii Tiulenyn street, which is equipped with a bicycle path, across the bridge named after the engineer Preobrazhenskyi. There are several cycling routes in the northern and southern parts of the island with a location within the territory of the Khortytsia National Training and Rehabilitation Academy.

The ground profile along the route is generally flat. The elevation within the routes is 50m: the highest point is the “Scythian Stan” location, the lowest places are the beaches and the flooded lower part of Khortytsia Island. The maximum road grade is 6.1% on a 350 m. part. On average, the road grade ranges from -1.3% to + 1.4%.

In general, the routes are not complicated and any person who knows how to ride a bicycle and rides on weekends at its leisure or to the cottage can pass it.

1. Sakral’na-Khortytsya-1- “light blue”:

The length of the route is 41.3 km. The route is mapped along the Dnipro River. The route runs along paved roads, as well as country roads, paths and beaches. The route provides arms from the main route to some interesting places. The total route duration is 10 hours.

2. Sakral’na-Khortytsya-2- “yellow”:

The length of the route is 36.9 km. The route passes some places on the beaches and paths, which can cause difficulties in unfavorable season. The total route duration is 9 hours.

3. Sakral’na-Khortytsya-3- “green”:

The length of the route is 36.3 km. The route makes the most of the paved roads and can be used not only for bicycles but also for other small electric vehicles. The total route duration is 8 hours.
