You can create compositions where you frame the old lighthouse from this point in the harbour. This is an ideal point to take photos of the boats returning from fish in the early hours of the morning. Şile Harbour is a large rectangular dock located next to the Ladies Bath. It is usually used by fishing boats. Some days, a couple of sailboats can be found. There is a small fish market and small fish restaurants in the northeast of the harbour. Şile islets rising from the sea behind the fish market stands as a nature temple. There are seven islets: Ocala Island, Zeytin Island, Dış Island, Uzun Island, Yelken Island, Aya Anna I and Aya Anna II. Ocaklı, on which Şile Castle rises, is the largest of these islands. The castle is believed to be used for observation rather than defence.
