In the upcycling “Ecopark” one can see an original creative and ecological approach to the “new look” at old things. Upcycling is the second life of old things, and with completely new useful features. The Ecopark clearly shows how to create practically works of art, sports equipment and other things from disposable tableware, plastic bottles, car tires and other waste. For example, a suit was made of cups. An obstacle course on a sports ground was made of tires. An original photo zone was made of old doors. And a net was made of the threads obtained from the cut bottle. The demonstration site of environmental management methods invites everyone to try turning plastic into stripes, chips, which will reduce the volume, and will allow transportation to a processing plant with less fuel, or to turn into useful things, for example, to weave a basketball net. This way of the environment care will be certainly appreciated by creative people, lovers of handmade and various original “stuff”.

Waterfalls

One of the authentic corners of the Zaporizhzhia region is the steppe which surrounds the villages of Kamianne, Druzhliubivka, Ivano-Hannivka, Nataliivka in the Vilniansk rayon. The special charm of these places in the historical and natural symbiosis of virgin, untouched by plow parts of the steppe and granite stones, plates, rocks, boulders. Behind the village we turn into a field along a chain of small lakes. A path goes among wildflowers. At our approach, flocks of large birds fly into the air. It turns out that these are white and gray herons. There are a lot of them. Water jets flow from the cliff almost at a right angle, it’s quite high, spatters sparkle in the sun.

The cascade is formed due to the elevation between the lake located above and the low basin, where granite was previously mined. The stone slopes are overgrown with shrubs, small trees and grass. And there is also a shallow pond, and a heavy bulrush. It is certainly a small paradise for birds. This landscape canton does not lose its attractiveness neither in summer nor in autumn. Another waterfall is located five kilometers from the first one, in the valley of the Mokra Moskovka River.--- Having passed kilometers of the route and a steep slope at the waterfall, every tourist will be able to see this natural miracle. At the pond you can pitch tents, light a bonfire and have a romantic time listening to the noise of water falling from almost five meters high. Spring is especially good for this.

A Sweet Stop In Veselyi Hai Village

Since ancient times, the main base for the development of beekeeping in our region has been steppes and forest belts. Many different melliferous plants, and especially linden, gave large honey collections for the bees. Our ancestors found hollows with bees in the woods and took honey and wax from them. But over time, they were not limited to obtaining these products from randomly found nests and began to cave hollows for bees in the trees by themselves.

Within the territory of the “Apiary” stop, professionals will offer honey, as well as various beekeeping products: Propolis, pollen, wax, honey first aid kit (honey drinks and herbal tea). You will be able to purchase craft products and consult on their application.

An amazing apiary in the village of Veselyi Hai will be appealing to people of all generations. Both children and adults will be interested in the story of the life of the most hardworking insects. They will tell you about the traditions of beekeeping from the origins to the present. Here you will get acquainted with the complicated design of the hive, see the “outfit” of the beekeeper and devices for work. You will feel involved in the production of honey. After a tour to the country estate, all guests will taste the delicious dishes from the bees themselves. It will be possible to purchase honey or other souvenirs made by the hands of local artisans as a keepsake.

All honey is divided into two groups - monofloraly, that is, collected from plants of the same species, and polyfloral, collected from many plants. The first is named after the name of the plant: acacia, linden, buckwheat, sunflower. The second type is most often called after the location or the composition: field, forest, flower, mixed herbs.
