Kabakoz village is located approximately 13.5 kilometres southeast of the center of Şile. You can arrive at the recreation area from the Kabakoz junction on the Şile Ağva coastal road. There are facilities in the village to meet all your needs. There is a plane tree in the square of the village, which is thought to be 700 years old. You can take pictures here. The northern part of the Kababoz recreation area is located under the close shade of oak forests. European alders (Alnus glutinosa) and narrow-leafed ash (Fraxinus angustifolia ssp. Angustifolia) rises in areas closer to the water in the forest. It is possible to see some forest bird species such as chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs), Eurasian jay (Garrulus glandarius), Syrian woodpecker (Dendrocopus syriacus) in the area in all seasons. Kabakoz, one of the most beautiful beaches of Şile, is located just north of the recreation area.
