Çamaltı picnic area is located on Doğancılar Sofular road after passing the village when you move towards Sahilköy from Şile. The area is shaded by the forests of stone pine (Pinus pinea) and Calabrian pine (Pinus brutia). You can observe some forest bird species such as chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs), Eurasian jay (Garrulus glandarius), Syrian woodpecker (Dendrocopus syriacus) and the Sardinian warbler (Sylvia melanocephala).
